Gambian International Fashion Week is a non-profit annual event held in Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre (OIC) Bijilo, The Gambia. The event was created in 2023 by the Gambian fashion designer Ismaila Jallow, based in Milan.
GIFW showcases fashion from both local and international designers, highlighting the country's vibrant fashion scene and serving as a platform for emerging talents in Africa, Europe, and beyond.
Beyond fashion, GIFW engages with the community by offering work positions, supporting local artisans and businesses, and boosting the creative economy in The Gambia.
