The 1st Edition was a very successful event as we brought together the finest fashion designers like you from different parts of the world to showcase their amazing works. This year will even be bigger as we would be welcoming more international and local participants. We would also be hosting models, influencers, artists, industry experts, media, ministry of tourism and culture, and other special guests. The GIFW 2024 will bring together institutions and economic operators from around the world to engage with the international elite of fashion designers. With over 2000 guests expected, this event will delve into diverse Fashion Designers, trend collections and sustainable development to digital transformation and positioning Gambia as a fashion destination. This is also an opportunity to network and build more connections.

The GIFW aims to breathe new life into the fashion industry and tackle the challenges faced by several countries, particularly in Africa. In this time of crisis, it is imperative for individuals and organizations to unite their efforts, foster creativity, and embrace innovation. We believe that by doing so, we can establish finance-mechanisms, propose investment alternatives, and stimulate the growth of inter-continental trade.
